Lalušić lands more ETCC points

Mladen Lalušić added to his FIA European Touring Car Cup scoring tally with sixth place in Race 1 at ETCC Race of Vila Real last month.

Having claimed points during the first three weekends of the season, the Serbian driver made it four with his efforts on the streets of northern Portugal.

But despite starting the reverse-grid Race 2 from the front row of the grid, Lalušić was in ninth place when the event was halted ahead of schedule following an accident and therefore unable to add to his sequence of scores.

After eight rounds, the LEIN Racing driver is ninth in the standings with 13 points.

Fábio Mota fought for a podium finish in both FIA European Touring Car Cup races at Zolder – but had to settle for a best result of fourth place scored in the first of two races in Belgium.
