A CLOSE FIGHT IN THE SUPER PRODUCTION
3 May 2012

There are just two entrants in the Super Production category – Russia’s Nikolay Karamyshev and the 2011 champion Aleksandar Tošić from Serbia, both in Honda Civic cars – but it can’t be said that races have been boring so far.

At Monza Tošić and Karamyshev had shared victories, and this was repeated at the Slovakia Ring, where they had close and exciting fights in both races, taking turns in the leadership. Just like in Monza, Tošić won the first race and Karamyshev responded in the second.

Following these results, the battle for the Super Production Cup is still wide open, with Karamyshev currently leading Tošić by 8 points, mainly because the latter failed to finish the second race in Monza.
