Michal Matějovský (1^st S2000): “I had a very good Race 1 - I was very happy that I had a good start and so I could have a fight with Fernando (Monje). I really enjoyed the race and he clearly didn’t want to give in to me! I won that fight and I was able to keep my tyres in good condition so I was very happy. I really hope I can do some more of the ETCC races this year, but we will have to see.”

Andreas Pfister (1^st Single-make Trophy): “It was a great weekend for me and for the team - they did a great job and I wanted to say a special thanks to them and to SEAT Sport after the technical problems we had. In the first race, there were four SEAT cars fighting and it seemed odd to be fighting with the diesel cars which are very fast. In the second race I enjoyed the fight I had with Petr (Fulín) in the BMW but in the end he was too strong for me. The next race weekend in Salzburg is effectively my home race and so I really hope I can have another good weekend there.”

Nikolay Karamyshev: (1^st Super Production): “This was a very good weekend for me. Obviously the second race was better for me than the first, but qualifying went well and so I’m happy with the points. I’m really counting on the second half of the championship, since I’ve competed before in Salzburg and I know the track, but I’m confident that I can fight for the Super Production title.”

Kevin Krammes (1^st S1600): “I have to say that I have a very good car and a very good team and we all worked together to take two good results away from the Slovakia Ring this weekend. Like Andreas was saying, the races in Austria are like being at home in Germany for us and so I will also be trying my best to score more points in Salzburg.”
