For the current season team and drivers have upgraded to Super 2000 Honda Accord cars. After a one-off appearance in the FIA World Touring Car Championship meeting at Anderstorp, Lvov managed to win the Russian title, with Smetsky finishing as runner-up. The Golden Motors’ pair dominated the season, claiming 12 race wins out of the 14 championship rounds.
Therefore they must be regarded as serious contenders for the Super 2000 Cup in Adria.
