WTCC regular Liqui Moly Team Engstler announced they will also take part in the European Touring Car Cup with a BMW 320si car driven by Igor Skuz. The 35-year old from Ukraine claimed several victories in his country’s Touring Car Championship and won back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011.

Last year he also made his maiden appearance in the ETCC at the Salzburgring, where he ranked fifth in the S1600 class at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta.
The ETCC is very important for us, to give drivers the chance to make their first steps into international motorsport. Now that this series is included in some of the WTCC events, it is even better as it allows the drivers to build up their experience,” team manager Kurt Treml said.
