GREAT BRITAIN WINS NATIONS’ CUP

Thanks to James Thompson victory in the Super 2000 Cup, but also to the points collected by Harry Vaulkhard in the Bamboo Engineering Chevrolet, Great Britain was awarded the Nations’ Cup.
Thompson (3^rd and 1^st) and Vaulkhard (5^th and 6^th) together collected 23 points over the two races in Braga; Germany and Hungary were classified second (with 16 points) and third (14 points) respectively.
Portugal brings luck to Great Britain that had already won the Nations’ Cup in 2006, when the FIA European Touring Car Cup was held at Estoril. In the following editions the trophy went twice to Denmark in 2007 and 2008.
