RICHARD KAYE TO REPLACE TEREGULOV
Richard Kaye will replace Rustem Teregulov at the wheel of one of the two BMW 320i cars run by the German Engstler Motorsport team owned by the experienced Franz Engstler who will be racing himself in the FIA World Touring Car Championship’s final meeting at Macau. This will mark Kaye’s racing comeback after a while.

FIVE ITALIANS IN THEIR HOME RACE

FIRST APPEARANCE FOR SUPER 1600 CARS
Further to the requests coming from some National Sporting Authorities, Super 1600 cars have been accepted for the first time in the FIA European Touring Car Cup. “The Super 1600 class is becoming more and more popular in a number of national championships and the FIA Touring Car Commission is now working to establish common international regulations,” KSO GM Marcello Lotti explained.

UPGRADE FOR GOLDEN MOTORS
In 2006 the Russian outfit Golden Motors ran two Super Production Honda Civic cars for Alexander Lvov and Andrey Smetsky, achieving important results including Lvov’s victory in the FIA Super Production Cup at Estoril. For the current season team and drivers have upgraded to Super 2000 Honda Accord cars.

TWO CHEVROLET LACETTI CARS FROM DENMARK
Chevrolet will be represented in the FIA Super 2000 Cup by two Lacetti cars run by the Danish importer’s team and driven by Henrik Lundgaard and Swede Pontus Mörth. They were both among the top drivers in this year’s Danish Touring Car Championship, claiming two victories apiece, the first ever for Chevrolet in Denmark.
